Yossi Benayoun has spoken of his frustration at left on the bench more often than not for Liverpool.
Benayoun spoke to Israeli tv, saying he will consider leaving should the situtation not change soon :“If the situation remains the same over the next few months, and I’m not getting more time in the middle, I will not want to continue as a Liverpool player,” he said.
“The fact that I have spent so much time on the bench, while there has been a winning formula on the pitch, tells you everything. I hope it changes for me, because I want to stay, but it won’t be easy.
“I know I’m at one of the biggest clubs in the world, and that there are many good players like Ryan Babel and Jermaine Pennant who sometimes aren’t even in the squad, but it’s not much fun sitting on the bench.
“I always wanted to prove myself good enough for Liverpool, and I thought I did well last season. But there seems to be more competition. If I continue on the sidelines, I would not want to stay.
Yossi has scored 11 goals in 63 appearances for Liverpool since his arrival from West Ham in 2007.

I believe in Yossi!
Yossi Benayoun is a wonderfully talented player and he had more than proven his capabilities on the pitch. He's great in the middle and has a creativity for accurate passing and can dribble hard. If Rafa would wise up he could use Benayoun effectively in a forward position.
Yossi is good
Rafa guess he should be utilizing all the Reds players with much sensitivity. The tem is not made up of eleven players but more and will be good to see that anyone in form is given a fair chance to get in the pitch.Would not enjoy seeing nthe 15players playin on and on as it will be with more from the bench. So Yossi,am longing to see you and guess you will make me proud
