Chelsea in Champions League
If we lose this game on wednesday we are screwed, we need at least a draw, and an away goal, we don't want another tense final few mins to the game, especially after Gudjonsens miss last time, i nearly shit myself when he shot! i thought we were out.
We need to win this game in the first leg, like we did against Barca, if we can do it against them we cna do it against anyone!

Wingers in the match...
Well, all i wish is to see a team which can produce a rapid game like the one against wigan, with wingers like Gonzalez and Pennant..so the place is left in the middle for Alonso and Mascherano, where does gerrard fit?? Eventually upfront with only one striker, and it would be good to see Rafa at least make his subs a bit early, using the pace of Bellamy against the tired team of chelsea after 70-75 mins..
And Rafa do have a vision when he buy players, If Arbeloa had scored against wigan it would have been a goal similar to that scored by Messi during last week..the guy is a true potential!
5 in midfield?
When Gerrard plays right wing, he comes in central often, exposing the right back, whereas Pennant hugs the line, stays wide, so there is always someone to spread the ball wide to, and covers Finnan/Arbeloa
5 in Midfield could be an option, but then theres only room for 3 centre backs , unless we only go for one upfront, and play a 451?
5 in midfield could work, Mascherano and Alonso in the middle , Pennant on the right, Riise/Gonzalez on the left,Gerrard in attacking midfield role , behind Crouchie upfront

Alright Tony, seems like that would be our preferred formation, shut down Chelski midfield threat!!! Up front playing the lone striker has to be a disciplined KHuyt or Bellamy or fowler ... Crouchie can't handle Terry and I hope Rafa knows this. We need to keep a clean sheet and a 2 goal brace because after watching Chelski 2day .... we can get at em!!!
