Will Rafa leave after this disagreement with the club owners?

ISNT IT GOOD TO SEE THE GOALS BEING SHARED AROUND ? WE ARE CREATING A HELL OF A LOT OF CHANCES, HAVING BENNYOUN IN THE TEAM INSTEAD OF PENNANT IS A MAJOR PLUS THE GUY NOT ONLY SCORES GOALS BUT CREATES CHANCES AS WELL. EQUALLY BABELL ALLWAYS LOOKS LIKELY TO SCORE, TORRES WELL THE GUY IS CLASS GERRARD IS ON NINE SO FAR, WE LOOK LIKE SCORING FROM DIFFERENT AREAS UNLIKE LAST SEASON.
THATS ABOUT 20 GOALS IN FOUR GAMES AND WE HAVE ONLY CONCEDED ONE. We played ok 2day but we should of won a lot more convincenly what a great hatrick from benayoun his 2nd hatrick of the season what a player and an even better player is lucas what a strike 2day he has a great future ahead of him at anfield providing rafa plays him a lot more and in the right position the same goes 4 benayoun i know it was part timers but benayoun took his goals well so did lucas very good players.

Kev j if you listern to Tom Hick's interview on the BBC website , he blames all this conjecture on the press, and states that him and Gillet don't plan on selling to anyone. He also states that Rafa will remain the Manager at Anfield for the duration of his contract.

I thought Havant and Waterlooville did the non league proud in there performance at Anfield yesterday.
We were very poor in the first half and it was all down to Havents positive approach to the game. It was just as well we lifted our game in the second half, Havant did themselves proud, CONGRATULATIONS.

Benayoun has done well alright and is clearly better than Pennant, who never looks like scoring a goal.

But I don't think Benayoun is good enough week in week out on the right wing if we want to win a title. He hasn't scored many in the league and his two hatricks were against part-timers and a Turkish team who were pathetic on the night at Anfield.

So well done to Yossi yesterday but I still think he's only of real use as a good squad player.

benny is a good player, sissoko was and is crap. the others ok, but i think crouch is a good squad player. i agree wiht hamman thoe. as for mash well i like him too but 17 mil is alot and he wont win you the prem. but its the going rate, and he is at 23 good..

Kuyt was praising havants performance and he also said that he was dissapointed that he didnt hit the bk of the net and he said the same old fucking crap again! Football is all about opinions but I beleive there is a common thread in the team debate. Four or five of the squad are woeful. I don't think Benayoun is a bad player - I just don't think he is strong enough physically to hold the right wing slot permanently if you want to win the title. Crouch, Riise and Alonso have suffered under Benitez - again I place Crouch in the bottom because he lacks strength pace and heading ability - a great guy who wants to play for the club but I am not sure he can lead the line with Torres permanently. Sissoko gets a hard deal in my opinion - he needs a good manager. However if Mascherano is to stay then so be it. Virtually everyone I know is in agreement give or take a player or two. The headache is who replaces Benitez. I know he has wound a few of us up in the past but if we are serious about the Title with this squad I can see no further than Mourinho. Break the bank and get him in. Above all he has the mental attitude to challenge for the season. The squad needs a bit of tweaking and an end to rotation.

As rouman said he won't last 5 mins in EPL without millions..his style of game is defensive like Benitez play..thats why he was sacked by abrahmovich..we don't want to play this kind of defensive football, we need the type of game LFC was playing in 80's..attacking football with class, just look at the chelsea results in maurinho era you'll noticed most of the games they won were just by 1-0, he just scores one goal and then defends... He is not the manager we need if we don't have millions to provide him.. I said it before, lots of Chelsea Prospective acquisitions were done after the requests of Frank Arnessen who is an expert in spotting talents... Abrahmovich paid millions to get the service of that man at chelsea. and he also claimed that Maurinho was playing too defensive, with Makelele, Essien and geremi all 3 are holding midfielders. Maurinho is not the answer, and anyway its clear that the yanks won't sack Rafa and pay him 6 million of damage for rupture of contract, so its better we forget this topic.

I reckon we need Mascherano 17M is cheap for an extablished International playuer who is only 23 abd will only get better. ).Bear in mind Mascherano's fee INCLUDES HIS WAGES , then take the 9m we are getting from Juventus for Sissoko into accont. i'd rather we sold Alonso who isn't getting many chances recently and hasn't shown much of he's initial promise for some while now, that said Rafa seems to play him in a defensive role that doesnt suit his style.

But I agree that we need a top quality winger and a top class striker ( we wont get much change out of 40m ).

We can get this money by offloading the following -
Crouch 10m Riise 5m Carson 8m Kuyt 5m and Pennant 8m thats 36M of the 40m.

i'm not convinced that Quesesma would suit the Premiership, I cannot deny that he is skillful but he looks a bit lightweight to me and a very moody player as well. That said there isnt an abundance of top quality wingers available.

Id like to see Anderson given a chance next season as I feel he has what it takes to make the grade wether Rafa will give him that chance though ?. He could end up saving us a fortune, He is doing brilliantly at Swansea and scoring a lot of goals as well, he;s on nine for the season which is good for a Winger.

We havn't had a top lass Winger since John Barnes, and we need to get one, Pennant is ok but if your trueful not really good enough.

why i must agree the cost is high, and hopefully rafa and mascherano can make a deal for less with his greedy advisors. you got to remember how much was hargreves, carrick, Edgar Davids(in his day) Guttuso from AC Milan cost, they are all the same, and if we want quality we must pay. its a sorry state of affairs i agree but mascherano is in the top 5 defensive players in europe with hargreves not a touch on him. we must retain his services, a deal will be struck but like you i hope all parties see sense.

Ive always said mascherano is over priced its the greedy bastards that own him has put that price tag on him! as u said rouman he wont win us the PL he isnt even a scorer just a good passer and a ball winner he hasnt even scored 4 us yet he'll be another sissoko scoring one in every 100+ games... dont get me wrong he is a very good player but at £17m thats a bit steep we could get quaresma for at least £15m without a doubt he run rings around our defence the last time we played against porto i think rafa should sign him i know i said he was a show boater but look at the prick ronaldo we need someone 2 play 4 us that will give that prick a run 4 his money and quaresma is that player.

Hard to believe that anyone in there right mind would buy Sissoko for 9m, but ranieri has , what a great bit of business. What is needed now is for another idiot to buy Dirk Kuyt.

i have the same thoughts on rafa letting good players slip through the net again we've been linked with gudjohsen thats as far as it will go coz of rafa he doesnt know a good player when he see's one i really dont know where we are with rafa no doubts he will play kuyt 2moro when rafa should be selling him aswell because he is fucking crap he knows we need another striker 2 play up front with torres but it doesnt look like its gonna happen with 2 days of the transfer window left 2 run so it looks like a 5th place finish this season then especially if rafa keeps playing kuyt!!!!
