Two games away from another European Cup final is exciting! Essien is out of the first game and that's a big bonus. He has been their best player this year and performed excellently in various positions.
Obi Mikel did well in the 2nd half in Valencia but he hasn't got the experience of Makelele and is prone to dwelling on the ball in front of his back four so I'd prefer him to start. Ballack is only dangerous at set pieces. Lampard isn't playing that well at all and Diarra or Ferreira at right back can be got at.
We can win this game at Stamford Bridge if Kuyt, Crouch or Bellamy are sharp enough to take the scarce chances that come their way. We need to score there for certain as that has proven our greatest weapon in this campaign; scoring crucial away goals.
I am certain we won't wilt like Valencia did in the 2nd half but Mourinho will try to kill the tie at Stamford Bridge or have a 2 goal lead so they will go for s big time there. We must be very strong in defence and confident in ourselves. And our unreliable forwards need to be clinical that night. But that's our weakest point, forwards who you can't put your money on to finish good chances.

Truth be told Valencia would have been the better option!! For me Chelsea's most valuable asset is the mental strength that the team possess, they just don't know when they are beaten and always manage to find another gear!
player for player we no doubt match them and in some cases suprpass them, but when you look into Drogbas eyes the focus is intense, the hunger is there!! Those guys are playing for their manager like a son for a dying father and we better be ready for a fucking battle!!
Make no mistakes this is war and the loosing side will feel pain like never felt before ... the lads need to know this .. they need to want to inflict this .. this needs to keep them on the training ground / eat / sleep / drink footy all the way to Athens!!
I think we'll need to win both legs(not agg) and not rest on our laurels, with a magnificent work rate ... players like Momo and mascherano constantly imposing them selves in the center of the park, tracking back allowing Stevie to get forward ... pennant out wide .... risse on the left stevie just behind Robbie / bellamy!!
4-4-2 will be too negative and if we go a goal behind we may never make it back up!!

I'll give u 50p richie im low on dough at the moment...but u know what ?? people are saying its revenge time for chelsea and what not..i think its revenge for us in proving that we did deserve to go through and win the CL for the FIFTH TIME..hopefully we will show them that we dont need controversy and that we can win it SIX TIMES.

Not only is Mourinho and big-mouth, arrogant little you-know-what,but he is clearly someone who bares grudges and can't let go of the past, So he obviously hasn't got much going for him personality wise. He brought up that Luis Garcia goal AGAIN! We beat them and we won the champions league and we deserved it!! Last year we beat them in the FA cup, we won the cup and we deserved it!!! You'd think that he would have learned by now that liverpool fight when it really matters and the more he stirs it, the more we want to beat them!
