Rafa should not retire as Liverpool manager. he is an intellegent football manager i don't care what anyone else says. anyway, look at the evidence, clubs who change there managers more frequently do not succeed. look at newcastle.

there will be a lot of money at rafas disposal in the next month or so and he has to get it right so in saying that there might not be much transfer activity because the players we'd won't will most likely be only availiable over the summer. Replacing rafa just before the take over would only be worth it for one of the worlds top managers (lippi, wenger, scolari, huddink.. and a couple more) if we couldn't line up that calibar then he gets the next 6 months to prove that has the man management properties and premiership mentality to bring it home!
Rafa has had a second wind with the shieks arrival... but he's under the microscope now. Good result from the boys, good performnance from pennant and bellamy but still waiting to see the real alonso
