 Daniel Agger was signed in January 2005 from Brondby, but didn't make an appearance due to injury until later in the season. Brought in as cover for Hyypia and Carragher, Agger is hailed as the best young danish player for years, and has already shown signs of promise putting in memorable performances already, including against West Ham where he scored a screamer from 30 yards.

One for the future, he may have to wait to get a long run in the team, but if his performances already are anything to go by, Liverpool have made a great signing in Agger.
