I agree that Kuyt, Pennant and Voronin are not Premiership Standard, Bennyoun is a Squad player at best, we would be best served getting rid of all of them.

We do lack width our best option at the moment is to play Gerrard out on the right, and Babel on the left. We have lacked a winger for years now, Silva may fit the bill (he looks a bit lightweight but has ability ) . I would have given Anderson a try rather than loan him out again.

Regarding the Yanks it is unbelieable what they are getting away with, they have been rumbled there transfer kitty to Benitez has to have been 10m, which is an insult. I feel we will have a better season than last , I pray we sign Barry as I feel he will bring us something extra, our left side has been our weak link for several seasons and his signing would bring superb balance to the team plus he has shown whilst playing for England that he works well with Stevie G. If we sign him I predict a Premiership Challenge if not then third or forth place again, WHICH ISN'T WHAT WE REALLY WANT.

I also feel we are better equiped for a Champions League run than ever before and am going to have a good few quid on us winning that trophy this season.
