Reinna 8 Kept us in the game Man of the Match. Arbeloa 5 Up against a tricky player didnt impose himself. Carragher 6 Played fairly well. Agger 5 looked rusty composed but we seemed to have a gaping gap in the middle of our defence. Dossena 7 Did ok no way was it a penalty. Plessis 6 Did the simple things well but our midfield was out fought and overran.Tried hard. Alonso 5 Didnt play a decent pass all night, kept giving fouls away overan. Bennyoun 6 Tried hard without much support. Kuyt 5 Ran and ran sometimes running isnt enough. Keane 5 found it difficult, with our midfield outrun and out fought spent most of his time chasing lost causes. Torres 6 much like Keane took a lot of stick did ok considering no support.
Team Performance - 6 Very poor display, did there keeper have a shot to save ? our midfield was out fought and outran, need Stevie G in from the start against Sunderland. Nil - Nil was a decent result but we were lucky not to have lose.
