Formations
Any idea of what type of formation we might use next season. Alot of people are suggesting a 4-2-3-1 approach. Now Keane is in the loop. Wouldnt it be more effective in using a 4-3-1-2
formation.

Dossena(Arbeloa) Skrtel Agger Degen(Aurelio)
Babel Mascherano Kuyt
Gerrard
Torres Keane.
Alonso can switch with Mascherano. Carragher + Hyppia with either of the CB.
Voronin and Pennant seem surplus to me. Voronin in particular. I think we should keep benayoun as he does provide alot when needed.
Finnan has lost his place in my opinion so he can be let go to.

I WOULD PLAY TWO UP FRONT IN MOST HOME GAMES ONE WITH KEANE A LITTLE WITHDRAWN IN AWAY GAMES. I WOULD ALSO PLAY STEVIE G ON THE RIGHT. I EQUALLY BELIEVE BARRY WILL BE A LIVERPOOL PLAYER BY THE END OF THE WEEK.I WOULD HAVE GERRARD BABEL AND BARRY PUSHING FORWARD AT VERY OPPORTUNITY, IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT MASCH AND OUR DEFENCE ARE SOLID AND RELIABLE. I WOULD ALSO CONSIDER PLAYING DARBY AT RIGHT BACK, ALSO WITH 7 ON THE BENCH THIS SEASON ONE OR TWO YOUNGSTERS COULD GET A CHANCE TO SHINE, NEMETH FOR ONE LOOKS A REAL DISCOVERY.

I'll go with Eddie's formation, but without kuyt in the subs, he don't deserve to play in the EPL, i'd rather see nemeth upfront or El Zhar on the right than see Kuyt on the right.
Else we can still get kuyt to play as right back.
And for scouseforlife..mate you need to note that Dossena is the left defender and degen the right one, and not inverse as you've wrote.
And Degen is NOT good for LFC, plus it is believed we've bought a player just like kewell in degen, he'll spend more time in hospital than on the field.
Re your comments criticalmind it is amazing how Kuyt can play so well in the Champins League yet so poorly in the Premiership. It is well documented that I don't rate the guy but I would like to see him prove me wrong and have an excellent season, his work rate is second to none, but his control and ability to hit the target is put politely dreadfull. He gets in good positions but panics in front of goal, his at his best when he doesn have time to think.
Benitez loves his work ethic, but surely even he must realise that he is a liability up front.
then why don't rafa plays him as right defender?? he'll be running around gaining and keeping possession!!
