It seems Peter Crouch is on his way to Portsmouch a fee hs been agreed and he has been given permission to talk with them. That leaves us desperately short upfront, unless Nemeth is promoted to the First team or this new Danish signing Saric is as good as they say. ( both players lack experience but so did Fowler and Owen at the same age ). One things for sure Kuyt and Voronin wont grab us a hat full of goals. So who should we try to sign ? Villa ? Keane ? Porborski ? Who is the man to play alongside Torres ? and shoot us to the Premiership Title.

On the subject of Crouch I would like to wish hima ll the best. I feel we never got the best out of Crouch , but equally I feel with Peter in the side we tended to hit the ball up to him in a hit and hope fashion. He offered us something different and can feel agrieved that Benitez never really had confidence in him . He could and should have done better.
At least he now goes to a club where the Manager has faith in him, goodbye Peter and thanks for the memories.

we can get another one, but tat wud mean Rafa wud hav to change his formation.. currently he uses torres up front wit Gerrard as a 2nd striker.. kuyt on the wing n crouch/voronin hardly played..
