Arshavin, Podolski and David Silva
ARSHAVIN
He has been very good in the Euros as Russia made there way to the semis and has been linked with a lot of the worlds best clubs. He is valued at around £20million and I think he wants to leave his current club, Zenit St Petersburgh, and i feel he would be a good addition to the squad. But, the price is too high and he is 27 years old. Also, he has his heart set on a move to Barcelona and if the change came along, im sure he would go there. If the change came along for us to sign him, though, i would like to see him in our team next year.
PODOLSKI
Has shown again at this European Championship that he is a very good player, like he did at the last World Cup. He seems to want to leave Bayern Munich as well, and I feel that he could do a good job for us on either the left wing or upfront. Would cost around £10 - £15million and I feel he would also be good addition to the squad.
DAVID SILVA
Not reached full potential at the Euros, but has shown glimpses of brilliance. From what i saw of the match againt Italy, he played very well and has a great left foot. I think that he will leave Valencia in the summer anyway (due to there financial problems etc...) and i hope that he will be at Liverpool next year. Would cost £10 - £20million, and i feel that he would be worth it.
Out of the three, I would most like to see David Silva at Liverpool next season, but i would also like to Arshavin at Liverpool as well.

DAVID VILLA
Has shown that he is a World Class player at the Euros, and has also shown that he has a great friendship with our very own Fernando Torres. This could help us if he wants to leave Valencia, but im not sure if we could afford him, as he seems to be carrying a very hefty price tag. I would very much like to see him at Anfield next season, and not as an away team.

He for sure is a real gem, a superb player to watch, so much talented, BUT he has just extended his contract with Zenit for 3 more years, so its gonna cost big big money to get him..
As for podolski and silva they were not at all convincing to me, especially at the price that will be needed to get them.
as for Villa i'll prefer to wait and see when the transfer season really gets opened, rather than believing on all kind of rumors or newspaper misunderstandings...
id go for silva out of the three u mentioned here...
he brings us more options..and we do need a good left footed player in the team..we dont have any in the squad rite now... if we dont get villa we shud be goin in for podolski.. he can play on the wings and can play upfront with torres... im wating for the euro2008 to get over and hope the yanks will open the vault and let some money out (if there is any, )
I think Podolski is the one player that I'm baffled at why no one has tried to snatch.
He has got a canon of a left foot and can play up front or out wide.
I think out of all players I would love to see Podolski and Silva come to Liverpool.
