So who do you guys think is the player of the year???
I can only think of four guys and im sure they probably make everyones list as well.
STEVEN GERRARD
if not him who else...21 goals and 19 assists all season...

FERNANDO TORRES
EL NINO....a phenomenal season for him ...30 goals in the debut season speaks for it self..
just a couple of goals away from breaking Van Nistelrooy's record for the most goals ina debut season
JAVIER MASCHERANO
the 'lil guy' has held the midfield all season by himself allowing Gerrard and Torres to attack freely. Has been consistent all season.
SAMI HYYPIA
He ha been a rock at the back. With Agger missing the whole season Hyppia has held the line. has scored 4 important goals as well. Hope Skrtel follows in his footsteps

PLAYER OF THE YEAR HAS GOT TO BEE FERNANDO TORRES, HE CAME WITH HUGE
EXPECTATIONS HAVING COST 25M, AND JUST LOOK AT WHAT HE HAS DONE 30 GOALS IN HIS FIRST SEAON, BREAKING VARIOUS RECOLDS ALONG THE WAY. HE IS FAST HAS GOOD CONTROL, IS GOOD IN THE AIR, AND WORKS FOR THE TEAM. HE IS A LIVERPOOL LEGEND IN THE MAKING.
STEVIE G HAS ALSO BEEN SUPERB YET AGAIN, A GREAT CAPTAIN AND INSPIRATION. 21 GOALS FROM MIDFIELD IS SUPERB.HE SETS HIMSELF HIGH STANDARDS AND LIVES UP TO THEM.
TWO GREAT PLAYERS WITHOUT WHOM LIVERPOOL WOULD BE A VERY AVERAGE SIDE.
Player of The Year
Individual performances from both Torres and Gerrard have been key to the season so far.
Hypia deserves the vote - in an era of pure financial greed and prima donna's his loyal service should be considered. Torres and Stevie G will have many more opporunities - Sami has perhaps not been the best player of the year but surely the best individual club contribution.

sg, torres, sammi. all 3 have been imense,but if the team get to thec/l final the whole team deserve it... how may fans get to watch games like l,pool v arse or us playing chelski? to feel that anfield air,there is no place like it anywere.

Got to be Carra for me, he is always there quiet in the wings and when we need him he steps up everytime.
