Swap deal for Villa's Barry

Theres news abt rafa wanting to swap a cpl of players for Gareth Barry .
its a fantastic idea but Alonso shud be sold then. itll just create problems keeping him at the cluband with Plessis coming good (i hope to see more of him next season) itll just lead to unrest in the drssing room.Gerrard himself has said that Barry would comlement him beautifully, how they played together for England.him being left footed and Mascherano right footed, it also gives the Liverpool midfield much more zing and passes for the runs gerrard and torres make.
Rafa has offered Villa ,Riise and Crouch. I do believe Crouch should be soldto a foreign club if it is possible. Roma and Juventus are interested but it depends on Crouch ,i guess, in the end. Pennant and kewell sholud also be let go(sold) this summer as they are adding nothing to the squad. I hope the Yanks either get out of Anfield or get some sense into them and buy a cpl of big players and genuinely challenge for the title next year. We have good players in the ranks and do not need young players. A player at the age of 27-28 is usually at the peak of his career and we shuold not hesitate in buying players. Also cos with these world class players around , the youngster with Liverpool will get to learn more. Weve waited long enough for 18 years . I hope it doesnt become 19.
