TEAM TO PLAY ARSENAL IN THE BIG ONE
What team would you play in the big one on Tuesday, my selection would be as follows : Reinna,
Finnan, Carragher, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Mascherano, Kuyt, Gerrard, Bennyoun, Torres, Crouch.
My reasoning behind this team selection is I think Carraghers best position is in the centre of defence,and I see no reason not to play Finnan on the right and Arbeloa on the left, I would play two up front and would go all out attack from the off , a second goal would put serious pressure on Arsenal, Ive included Bennyoun because he works hard and gives us a goal threat, equally Babel hasnt done much recently, If we are two up at half time I would be tempted to bring Alonso on with half hour to go as a second holding midfielder , I cant see the sense in two holding midfielders in a home game. The last thing I want us to do is not go on the attack. Im totally convinced that if we take the game to Arsenal we will win and win comfortably. I predict a 2-0 or 2-1 result on the night.

ROUMAN I CHOSE KUYT BECAUSE BENITEZ WILL DEFINATELY DO SO. NO OTHER REASON. HE WOULDNT MAKE MY PUB TEAM.
I HOPE HE DOESNT SELECT THE SAME TEAM AS IN THE FIRST LEG , BABEL IS PLAYING VERY POORLY, CARRAGHER WAS OUT OF POSITION, AND I WOULDNT PLAY TWO HOLDING PLAYERS BUT CAN LIVE WITH IT IF HE DOES. BABEL IS A BIG QUESTION MARK, IF WERE HONEST HE HASNT DONE MUCH FOR A WHILE,FOR A FAIRLY BIG GUY HE IS EASILY PUSHED OFF THE BALL, AND SEEMS TO STRUGGLE WITH THE PACE OF THE GAME.

I not sure of stevie finnan at right back though, he is only just back from injury and would he be match fit, with walcott down the left his fitness would have to be 100% and its not. we seem to be giving goals away from set pieces and partly renias fault and parlty becasue if jamie was playing in centre we wouldnt have this problem, so jamie back into centre for me which leaves little choice at right back, its a tough one mate. babel did have a shocker your right, so benayoun should play, crouch good shout, he got point to prove and holds line well and can knock down for torres. from set pieces he would be a threat and the arsenal defence would be under pressure if big pete stays up field waiting for the long ball they wont be able to push up as much as they like. we seem to be running out of players, kewell injured (crap when fit) auriello and riise playing badly finnan unfit (through injury) babel not developed as much as we would of liked, pennant shows up but never delivers and not sure if rafa trusts him in big games, list goes on and on.
Congrats to COMPLY OR DIE in the national, cheers mate you won me my tuesday night beer money.
The Arsenal game is going to be bloody tough - they will have watched the two disasters at set pieces and will be looking for any free kicks they can get.

I know i'll get stick for this one. This can go 4-2-4 or 4-3-3 depending how the game is going. We need more width and we need to hold the ball a lot better than the first leg. I think Crouch should play - Arsenal can't handle him.
