It seems to me that there is a huge media bias against Liverpool and that it is getting rather ridiculous of late. Take the post-Inter reaction how we were ‘lucky’ to get through courtesy of two controversial red cards; no praise for the fact we outplayed the competition’s favourites to win the trophy before it started, Italy’s current champions and runaway leaders, yet Arsenal win at the San Siro and are classed as World Beaters. Do you think that there is a media bias towards Arsenal and Man utd ? because I do.

 Subject: Cant agree eddie

IF you said this 5yrs ago i would agree, used to look at the papers and news and we never got the same coverage as the others and if we did it was brief and mostly negative, however last few yrs i happy to say we get as much paper space as the other 3 and even more lately due to the great fenando and stevie. From what i saw from our victory over Inter, most press where gracious even reporting that the Inter fans celebrated and appauled the scouse machine which they recgonise rolls through europe like Napoleons army of old. We are offen tipped to be underdogs but that will always be the case until we win the PREM and dominate our own league and frankly i like it like that, reminds me of the old fighter who you right off and then WHAM we show them all we are still here.
Arsenal deserve their credit as that match was a JOY to watch they showed true footy in the champs back yard, (well done to them) Dont forget our tie was already over in most peoples eyes mate, if we had lost that i would of been furious. Lets see what they all say come monday papers, we do play negative footy sometimes and even though chelsea are more gulity of it than us we arent getting the same results as they are and our league position shows that, if we keep this winning run up, then people will start to talk but we sometimes shoot ourselves in the foot. WIN IT AGAIN and we will be dining with the GODS (or players will be) they will talk about the era of 2005 - 2009 as the yrs liverpool dominated europe as they do about the milan side of 1988-92. Prove ourselves one more time and the rest will follow. You earn respect (chelsea shown that by demanding it - people hate you) and we are on the right road to getting it back - he who laughs last - laughs the longest mate,

I think there is definitely a bias against us and I think it's of a racist nature. Look at the facts, Old Whiskey Nose rotated more players than Rafa last season-fact-was that mentioned in the media? No chance! If we had a home based manager i.e. English, Scottish etc. there wouldn't be half the press on the rotation policy and it applies to the players too. If Aurelio or Arbeloa had made the challenge Ashley Cole made the other night they would have been jailed!!! On the plus side Stevie can tackle anyway he likes and get away with it so maybe we'll leave it alone!!!
