To get the best of of Babel.....
rafa needs to play him up front with torres or give him a free role just behind torres and in front of the centre mids. with his skill, pace and shooting, i can see babel getting into double figures next season, no probs. i don't see babel as a winger. he can't cross with his left foot or rite, like a natural winger can.

You are right on this one topscout , Babel is definately being played out of position, he is not and never will be a winger.
Babel cost us 12m and to my mind has been dissapointing so far, Rafa is hindering this guys progress by playing him on the wing, he has shown flashes of ability, but if were not carefull he will end up as an expensive flop.Benitez is killing this guys career before it gets started.
HE NEEDS TO BE PLAYED UPFRONT WhERE HIS NATURAL PACE AND SKILLS CAN CAUSE A THREAT.
Yet again rafa is ruining the career of babel by playing him out of position week in week out or when he plays i agree guys he should be playing up front with torres with both of there pace the opositions defence whould sh*t themselves rafa needs 2 pull his bloody finger out or as ed said babel may end up being an expensive flop!
Well i agree perfectly with you guys about him, Babel used to play in 4-3-3 formation, we either need to play him upfron or just behind our main striker, But certainly not on the wing... he may well end up like Cisse who scored more goals than Crouch yet was constantly left to play on the wings.
But if you look at Babel, he gets tired too quickly, he still needs to adapt to the premier league, but thats not a reason to be played off position.
The question is, Do we still need to buy more strikers if Babel will be played upfront next season??
We just need to get a good winger to play on the Right side and get rid of Pennant, he really sucks!!
Torres and Babel up front in the San Siro when Inter are pushing men forward could have a field day with their pace on the counter.
But we all know Rafa will start the donkey who never stops talking to the press, Dirk Kuyt.
guys, you need to understand that playing on the wing is part of his education. Rafa is trying to mould him into and henry type player and if you analyse the way he plays on the wing, he can be how marc overmars was when he was at arsenal. we just need to trust him with the ball a little more to improve his dribbling and confidence. he has shown enough in the last two games to suggest that that he is improving.
This is just another form of rafa bashing and whilst i'm not his biggest fan, i do understand what he's trying to do with babel. Give him a chance as i can't see how even rafa can mess this one up
