If we analyse the game with cool mind, we can see we were better than Chelsea..they played worst than us..
But compared to benitez Avram grant showed better managerial skills by using all his three substitutions... Bringing out an incompetent lampard, changing a tired winger and bringing in another striker in the last minutes... showing he tried his best to win the game.
As compared to the unqualified manager..our tinkerman sticked with pig-faced kuyt playing as a defender upfront, and changed a striker who was playing on left wing with a winger who usually plays on the right wing!!
I think that if Pennant was used on the right, and benayoun brought for Kuyt to play on the left..we may well have won the game, coz they would have provided more Crosses to Crouch..
Anyway, we need to console ouselves with the mere idea that even ManU, Arsenal or other league teams have not won at Stamford bridge since 3 years.. Skrtel had a very good match, he showed that he played in the physical russian league thru his power in defence.
By the way, who is "San Jose Dominguez" who was in reserves??

I thought Babel should have been pushed forward,Pennant should have came on for kuyt and benayoun should have came for lucas to play on the left,that way we would have had a nice attacking team

That game was definately up for grabs if the right subs were made,waited too late again to make a change and when he did it was the wrong one,for a man that wanted to prove to everyone that kuyts a great player he didnt exactly give kuyt a chance to show that by playing him on the wing

thats the problem wit benitez...he goes to a game wit a mentality that he shud not lose the game...he doesn go wit the winning mentality...a draw at chelsea is a decent result..but he cud have made a few changes in the last ten min or so..
One change we definitely need to make
Change Benitez and get someone like Martin O'Neil or Sven Eriksson to take charge. Someone with a moderate intellectual capacity and the ability to rally the players to give there best. What a gutsy performance from Man City and Aston Villa. we don't even compare sadly enough.

yes we were the better side,all we needed to do was score. kuyt should not have even been on the bench, benny should have played.san jose is a reserve defender, a good one too. the fear factor got to both teams , rafa plays not to lose, chelski afraid to lose...
