Whats wrong with Benitez ?
What is it with Benitez He continues to play Kuyt when its obvious that he is devoid of ideas and incapable of scoring, He doesnt play Babel who cost us 12M can score and looks good whnever he is played, He doesnt play Alonso who is a terrific midfielder but play Kewell who hasnt had a good game for Liverpool in over two years. What planet do Benitez's decisions come from ?

u and me both ed it beggars belief why he picks kuyt ahead of babel who has scored more goals than kuyt this season i cant wait 4 the season 2 end so hopfully rafa will be given his marching orders and then it will leave the yanks and parry 2 go then we can start over with new owners and manager in place b4 the start of the 08-09 season if only it was that easy eh? but i hope rafa plays babel upfront with crouch on sunday but i bet u he plays kuyt and crouch tho if he does then he is an arsehole!
I reckon Benitez will play with one striker ,and will play fo a draw cramming our midfield in an attempt to nulify Chelsea , I aso reckon we will lose.

Rafa Benitez is backing Dirk Kuyt to fill Fernando Torres' boots over the coming weeks.
Liverpool will be without their top scorer for 10 days due to a hamstring injury sustained on international duty this week.
Of immediate concern is Sunday's trip to Stamford Bridge, a venue the Reds rarely leave with anything at the best of times.
Benitez, though, is hopeful Kuyt – who by his own admission has struggled in front of goal of late – can step up to the plate.
"He has scored some goals," said the Liverpool boss. "If you look at his record in Holland he always scored a lot of goals, but here he is doing a good job for the team."
Holland coach Marco van Basten left Kuyt out of his squad for only the second time this week.
The striker's response, according to Benitez, has been entirely as expected.
The Spaniard said: "He has been training really well for us and that is the kind of reaction you want from a player.
"Kuyt is a fantastic professional."
SO THERE YOU HAVE IT GUYS WHEN KUYT MISSES CHANCE AFTER CHANCE, FAILS TO CONTROL THE BALL, FAILS TO MAKE A SIMPLE PASS , REMEMBER THOSE WORDS OF WISDOM, KUYT IS A FANTASTIC PROFFESSIONAL.

Just to answer the question..Well Benitez is a blinded man by his arrogance, stubborness and stupidity... taking too many risks with players... Still trying to put the theories he learned at the faculty in practice... a man who looks too much at the statistics rather than on the field... and someone who don't know english so well hence coming out with the same excuse all the time "we created lots of chances but were unable to take it"... He is a man who had struck a money deal with kuyt..having failed to honour it, he now has to stick with his donkey playing each and every match... he is also a very jealous person, not only of other managers but also of his own players...he was so jealous he could not do the Crouch robot dance that he punished the guy by restricting him to the bench...
However he do have few good parts...spotting of very young talents...and making profits out of unrated players like sissoko etc... unfortunately nothing more coming in my mind or may there aren't anything more positive to say
whats wrong with bentiz?? i can sort off tell you he does my head in some times yes kuyt is not very gd and crouch and babel should be starting games but im sure he knows what he is doing i mean look at the team we had 3, 4, 5 years ago and look what we were winning.......nothing but now look he has a better team and we look like winning somethink every year ok it might not be the league but give him time, after 17 season you cant just exspet him to win the league in three season we need to give him 5 a least so lay off him

wait until sunday guys let be confident of this game and after the match talk, hope that kuyt scores and all you stop criticise him.
Chelsea can be to confident and they will not focus on kuyt so meaby this will be the tourning point for DK.
i really hope kuyt scores, if only so that we can sell him for more money in the future, we should sell:
kuyt
riise
voronin
aurelio
kewell
hyypia
carson
then we should promote insua and leto to the first team and spend any money on a left wing, left back and a striker, we only need a fourth choice striker (play babel with torres) so he shouldn't be too expensive, there are good players out there for 6mil we just can seem to spot them, also maybe sell alonso for funds and bring guthrie back in
