More bad news for LFC Fans. Torres picking up an injury for spain. this season is getting worse by the minute. however i hope as we all do that its not as serious as thought. And well done for torres if the reports are correct that he demanded the substition. Playing for your country is a big honour and it seems he put his club game against chelsea and his own career first, instead of a friendly. Without him, against chlesea we really dont have a goal threat. crouch and kuyt would be marshelled out of the box. and our midfield would be pushed back as the chelsea defence would push up due to not having a threat of someone with pace to worry about. If you have a prayer mat or a wailing wall, a church bench or even a pub floor get down on it now and wish this lad makes the match. getting hammered by the royal blue brigade isnt a finale to the season i want.

According to Rafa it looks s though he will miss the Chelsea game, He is either trying to spoof Chelsea r is right. Having Torres injured is a disater it leaves just one forward capable of scoring a goal Crouch, the headless one is a waste of space. Rafa is unlikely to rsk Tores with the Champions League game with Mian coming up.

With Mascherano,Torres and Alonso all ruled out for the chelsea game Babel simply must start,apart from Gerrard I think babels just about the only real chance of a goal we have,there is no point in starting him on the bench,all our hopes will lie on gerrard and when we concede which is usually the case at stamford bridge bringing babel on in the 75+ minute is ineffective.That said if ever there was a time for kuyt to prove himself sunday would most definately be it..however I wont be holding my breath
