PETER CROUCH - has he got what it takes ?

It was good to see Peter Crouch back up front on Saturday against Sunderland, thats three goals in his last three games from last seasons top goalscorer. Has Benitez given Crouch a fair go this season ? should Crouch be in the starting line up every week ? should Crouch be a part of our team for years to come ? can Crouch and Torres play as a pertnership ? is Crouch solely an impact player ? would another manager bring the best out in Peter Crouch ? or should Crouch be sold at the end of the season ?

From a personal point of view , I cannot make my mind up, I feel that Crouch is a confidence player, He seems to score in flurries. I am convinced that he is the best striker that we have to play alongside Torres if only for the reason that Kuyt and Voronin are crap. I equally think that Crouch sometimes plays better for England than for his club ( he has performed at international level against the very best and scored regulary ). Crouch has very good ball control for someone so tall, he is good at linking play up, he also has an eye for goal ( eighteen last season having started the season badly ), he isnt great in the air for a tall guy and lets some games pass him by ( but then so does Torres ).

Im sure that Crouch playing for a Manager who believes in him would be a real force be be reckoned with, he must have been pissed off being on the bench week in week out ( especially seeing the headless one getting a game ahead of him ), yet at no time has he spat the dummy out, which to me says He wants to play for the club, given a bit of time I reckon he and Torres could form a formidable partnership ( especially if we signed a decent winger ) I think Benitez has given Crouch a raw deal this season, I also reckon that he has it in him to become a twenty goals a season striker, should he stay or should he go ? , what do you guys think ?

CROUCH

the only way we will find out, is to give him a run.in the first team , i think if you get him tto regain confedence by playing him he will score goals he needs a good srevice thoe, but then again they all do, except kuyt.i reckon we would have won more games if he had played instead of kuyt. he must have somethink avilla, pompey, even juventus, cetic have made enquires about him. he has no pace but at least he hits the target. would i sell him not unless we got a top striker like villa. otherwise no.

i do think we shud keep

i do think we shud keep crouch for now atleast...he provides us with somethin different..tho he shud work more on holding the ball..yeah we shud first clear out kuyt n voronin n then look at our options...

STICK.....

Id see how crouch goes 4 a few games with torres they both got goals so why change it? rafa needs 2 pick these 2 and see how they play with each other and go from there but this is rafa he obsessed with ROTATION. ill make a bet on him not keeping 2 the same side that beat sunderland 4 the chelski game what u think???
