Rafael Benitez heaped praise on Sebastian Leto on the day he was linked with a move to Olympiakos.
Leto starred in Liverpool's 2-1 win over FC Lucerne; and having not been able to play due to passport problems, his return was a welcome one for Rafa: "Leto is a good player and he showed tonight the quality that he has, He has had some problems with his work permit but hopefully that will be okay because has a lot of quality.
"We are waiting to hear when that permit will come through and we should find that out in the next 10 days.
It was reported earlier that Olympiakos had bid £1.3million for the Argentinian, who spent most of last season on the sidelines.
Leto?
I've seen him play in the preseason, he is really a very good player, BUT does anyone knows in what club he was loaned last year? And how was his performance overthere? How many goals he's scored?
By the way, it seems our rejects are preforming off from lfc..Guthrie has already started scoring for newcastle in the weekend, Crouch scored 2 for portsmouth.

He was not loaned out last year. He played some for the first team and then for the reserves until his passport problem put him on hold. Then he stayed with the reserves but did not play.

It was a mistake us selling crouchie he will come back 2 haunt us he is a very good player he didnt get the run in the first team which he deserved with out a doubt instead rafa stuck with DIRK SHYT running around like an headless chicken rather than crouch score goals we will never be rid of kuyt as long rafa is there he prefers a marathon runner 2 a goal scorer!

can i just say,i was reading up on lfc history last night & it was shankly who put lfc 2gether for 14 years then moved in paisley for i dont know how long then i think it said joe fagen i think,but i wasnt in that ere it was roy evens i remember as the manager but up until then & now they have gone downhill yes we have won cups & trophies but still no pl trophie what im trying 2 get at is that i think it abt time we got in some1 who knows what they r doing buy good players & start getting people saying lfc ARE the BEST EUROPEAN TEAM IN THE WORLD again.does any1 else agree?
