The petition to get Tom Hicks out of our club now has over 5000 signatures, and what better time to get more on it when his interview comes out!
The American owner is set to discuss the recent breakdown between the club on skysports, an interview highly anticipated by reds all over the globe.
So far, over 5000 reds have posted their signature in support of the petition since mid march, we need more to get the message through that we do not want this liar in charge of our club.

DIC has being playing very foul for months now... Turning the media against Hicks alongside Gillet (pussy) who wants to back out. DIC's oil reserves are very low. They are a declining company. How anyone in the right mind could believe Hicks is backing Rafa? With what? A mouthful of lies! He is saying it because he knows the fans are with Rafa and he is using Rafa and the fans to force Rick out, so he could have a majority in the board. Did Gillett say he does not back his manager. Rick, Moores and Gillett staying quiet doesn't mean Hicks' story is the truth. I believe Rick is hoping to hold out for a little longer, few more months perhaps, such when Hicks no longer able to block Gillett from selling his shares. Rick knew he has put LFC in this shambles, he will resign when he steady the ship. If Ricks goes now, we will probably see DIC goes as well.

If Rafa is planning for next season, its based on the money that we will get from selling the likes of PC,HK, JP, etc and from the money generated from our CL ventures. Without a new stadium we are getting left well behind the top teams.

My understanding is that Gillet is able to sell his 50% to anyone he likes after May 1st.
I havn't seen Hick's interview but wouldnt trust Hicks as far as I could throw him, that said he is right about Parry being incompetant, and if you were Hicks you would more than likely do the same thing as he is doing , he is trying to make as much money as posssible, we can describe him as greedy, others would call him a clever businessman.
All this trouble is not good for the club though and until Hicks or Gillet give in to each other we are in limbo.We have got to hope Hicks gets pissed off with the whole thing and decides to take the profit and run.Then we have to hope DIC will still remain interested enough to buy them both out.
It is amazing that Rafa seems to have kept this shit from affecting the team, lets face it kev we arnt rafa fans but even I have got to admit that Rafa has done us proud recently and has also kept his cool in very difficult circumstances.

I saw the interview 2day it showed hicks and his kids in liverpool tops at 7am watching a liverpool game i dont believe that for one second i bet they dont watch every game i think that was a desperate PR stunt on hicks behalf he was there sitting in his chair with a cup of tea in a liverpool mug! c'mon is he taking the piss or what! he's getting desperate now i bet his kids will never watch another LFC match again this season that was a desperate PR for hicks 2 try and get the fans on his side1 but that doesnt wash with me as far as im concerned DIC IN YANKS OUT!!!

It's an ugly mess that is not going to come to a quick solution, but i do believe that parry should be sacked by whoever ends up owning LFC, can't see him ever resigning one of the cushiest jobs in football, there have been times when big and important things are happening and he's in the bahamas tanning his arse, but on the football side, i did not post any comments on the arsenal outcome, but was on the floor with tears in my eyes, and i am still laughing now about when the site got raided by arsenal fans and one of them in reply to eddie i think claimed that babel threw himself backwards to get the penalty, it was just a ludicrously stupid thing to say, so roll on chelsea again, the same outcome please, and hopefully this time they won't be crying about ghost goals and the home team having advantages during the penalties for the 2nd leg, a win at anfield and a draw at the bridge will do nicely.

yeah should beat chelsea, although I dont like to play the home leg first and the away leg last. Dont know how that works out though! But the chance of playing manure in the final is an added bonus, if one was needed. I'll be watching that one from behind the couch lol!!

Benzema seems overrated to me. For the price he will cost I would much prefer Samuel Eto'o from Barce, who has proven himself with a far more high pressure club. Benzema has everything to prove and yet his fee is as expensive as a world class proven international.
Ben Arfa from what I seen is a lot like Malouda. Athletic with good technique but nothing special.
I'd much prefer Frank Ribery, £20 million, Samuel Eto'o, £20 million, and Michael Owen, £5 million plus Dirk Shyt, to arrive then those two French players at that money.

i once wanted eto, but not now 20 mil for someone who is 27 going on 28 no not worth it, ribery is ok, michael owen is the one same age as eto, but i think would fit straight in the l,pool side, and can play with torres. eto would try and steal torres thunder, no i pefer villa, to eto. some one to complmate torres. thats owen or villa.. as for benzema far too much for him the mancs have offerd 22mil for him, and they turned it down. but ive got this feeling we won,t get any of them...

Can't agree with you rouman, Eto is worth (20m) and is a far better player than Benzema who is overated and overpriced (30M). Eto is total class and in his prime,we would get 5 years from him and I feel he would compliment Torres not steal his thunder. Villa(20M) is another good player who has allready shown how well he can play with Torres playing for Spain, he is the one I reckon Benitez will go for.
Ribery would be a great signing a winger who has strengh power and an eye for goal he would be my choice of wide man in the summer.
I also like the idea of Barry and Modic coming to the club.
We should raise a fair few bob selling the likes of Pennant,Carson,Riise,Guthrie,and I can see Crouch leaving as well he wont want to sit on the bench again next season.Collectively they should raise 30m. If Barry comes to Anfield I could see Alonso leaving as well which would mean 15-20m more.

eto is well known for his iam this ,iam better than him attiude. plus i have watched him of late, he is not as good as he was, he has had a lot of injuries, and its his mouth that has him not liked by team mates, why do you think barca want him out? liverpool is a club buillt on teamman ship. i reckon him and torres won,t get on. at 28 mate you have no chance getting more than3 years at top. the prem is to fast even foir someone like him. he probally would do a good turn for l,pool but not at 20mil i pefer henry for 15, because we all know he can play in the prem, and he has scored more goals than eto this year.but its well known with eto he has a ego thing, ask henry, ronaldino,and messi.none of them get on.. the last thing we need is a player. upsetting are team.

ribery is a good player, but i don.t think bayern will sell him.as for alonso your right, i think he is home sick. i think its more his wife than him.swp is overrated, lennon well he,s raw. barry would be a good buy, and modric is class.as for crouch if rafa stays he will go, but alonso will probally leave in the summer. i hope we get henry, because he wants to come back.i think we will see a few in and out next season.

Thoroughly professional performance!
The sort that title winners need to put in when they want to rest some of the first team, augurs well for next year. Pennant still exasperates but the goal was excellent and the ball to Crouch very good. You just think that he could still do more, seems unwilling to really take men on. Lucas played well and linked with Masch to produce some good attacks; one of his better games though you really want him to bulk up a bit and win - and indeed go for - some of those midfield challenges. Defence excellent, Pepe did some good stuff and Skrtel was....well, Skrtel. Immense. Nothing spectacular, but never looked really threatened and pleasant watching on a beautiful day!

the signing, i have asked around, noone knows for sure.but information going around is that it could be a bosman signing. as for dic there is a clause but hicks wants to fight it, also heard dic are intreasted in buying roma. weather this is a ploy to get the yanks moving i am not sure.
