New petition started to get Hicks out of LFC

We have started a petition to get Liverpool owner Tom Hicks out of Liverpool Football club.

Hicks has today terminated talks with DIC about them taking a share in the club, but this has now been cancelled by the liar himself. "I have decided to terminate any further discussions with DIC regarding their possible purchase of a minority stake in Kop (Holdings) and, in turn, in the club," Hicks said in a statement.
"DIC made it clear that if they invested in the club, they would want it to be managed by committee. Based on my 13 years of successful experience as an owner of professional sports teams, and based in particular on the situation at Liverpool Football Club over the past year, it is clear to me that such a committee approach would not be in the best interest of Kop, of the club or of the club's loyal and passionate supporters.
Accordingly, I have decided to exercise my right under the Kop Football (Holdings) Limited partnership agreement to veto any sale of any portion of Kop and the club to DIC."
Clearly, he needs to get out of LFC, and we need someone else we can trust to take over. Sign the petition, put the link on as many sites as you can, tell as many people as possible, when there is a decent amount of signatures, we will forward the petition by email and by post to the club and to Hicks himself.

What's the Point?
Looks like he's here for the long haul. He will only sell when and if it suits him. In the meantime, I suggest we just get on with supporting the team rather than fighting a civil war.

Can you reqrd the petition to make it sound more formal, almost like a legal letter, that way I think you would get more signatures and also it would have more impact when delivered

If Hicks wants to be the sole owner of LFC and wants the best for the club , then why put a debt on the club every year! Might as well promise a yearly transfer fund of 80m pounds for Benitez and the initial design for the stadium. Yankee Liar!

You all think DIC will do better? That is a joke. Give Hicks a little time to get his feet wet. He will do more for LFC than anyone from the middle east ever could.
You complain about transfer funds... they were not available during the window, but Masch is now signed to a long-term deal and I guarantee over the summer we will see another signing to the degree of Torre's deal.
Learn some patience and enjoy what the boys are doing right now on the field.
