3 years today since Rafa's arrival

Today marks the 3 year anniversary of the arrival of Rafa Benitez at Anfield.

Benitez joined on June 16th 2004, taking over from Gerard Houiller. In his first press conference , he said "I am a very proud man today because all managers like to arrive at the best clubs and we know Liverpool is one of the most important clubs in the world".

In 3 years he has led us to 2 European Cup finals(winning one), the FA Cup, European Super Cup and the Community Shield.

He has also brought some great nights to Anfield, including Juventus, Barcelona, and of course beating Chelsea twice a champions league semi final.

Cheers Rafa and good luck for the new season, hopefully number 19 will be delivered!

i watched his first game in

i watched his first game in charge v celtic 5-1.3 yrs has passed already.?

This is probably his most

This is probably his most important season. Al the noise from Anfield suggests there are problems with the Americans and everyone else. Rafa stated he wanted his targets acquired early so he could work with them the entire pre-season. Nearly a month on from his blast after our defeat to Milan and zero has happened as far as new arrivals are concerned. At this point I am worried about our prospects for next year, hopefully that will change but it lokks like same old story as every year from where I am sitting.
