Crouchie hoping for final start

Liverpool's top scorer Peter Crouch says he hopes he has played his way into the starting line up against AC Milan.
Crouch has been on form in Europe, scoring against the likes of PSV and Galatasary on the way to Athens, but admits he does not know if he will play or not.
I would like to think I'll be starting, My performances have been good in Europe and I feel I've got something to offer against Milan.
"I'm a different kind of player to anything they face in Italy and think I've done well in the Champions League this season. If I can continue to perform as I have been, I'm sure I can cause a few problems.
"I've been lucky enough to play most of the Champions League games and have been pleased with my form.
"Hopefully, that's enough to get into the starting line-up. I would be gutted if not because I want to start. But it's the manager's prerogative. He always plays the team he feels is right for the day and will pick the right side to suit the qualities they have and to exploit Milan."

crouchie should start as he is are top scorer and does well in europe. i think ac milan wont be able to deal with him. crouch and kuyt should start.

I reckon Crouch should start ahead of Kuyt and Bellamy. On sky sports news they seem to think that Kuyt will start upfront with Gerrard just behind him, but Crouch has been our top scorer, the Milan defenders have admitted he will be a problem for them, and while no one can doubt Kuyt's effort, Crouch is a better target man for crosses from the likes of Pennant.

i agree totally with you he is a better target man and i heard that kuyt will start with stevie just behind him but personally i dont think that will work and i think bellamy will be better to bring on as a sub.
