What's your starting lineup for the Champions league final against Milan?
I've attached mine below which I knocked together using the BBC's squad selector.
starting
Reina
Finnan
Carragher
Agger
Riise
Pennant
Gerrard
Mascherano
Gonzalez
Kuyt
Crouch
Bench
Dudek
Alonso
Bellamy
Sissoko
Hyypia
Aurelio
Fowler

What do you think?
-Agger over Hyypia
-Mascherano starting with Alonso/Sissoko as subs
-Gonzalez over Kewell
-Kuyt/Crouch with Bellamy/Fowler on the bench?
Less than two weeks to go now!

Final
I reckon Rafa will go for a 451, If that were the case id like to see the line up as :
Reina
Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Arbeloa/Riise
Pennant Alonso Mascherano Riise/Gonzalez
Gerrard
Crouch
bench:
Dudek
Sissoko
Agger
Bellamy
Kuyt
Kewell
Fowler
I chose Hyypia over Agger as Sami has far more experience in the big matches. Dont get me wrong, Agger was great against Chelsea in the second leg, but in the first leg he looked out of place
line up
REINA
FINNAN/ CARRA /AGGER /RIISE
PENNANT/ STEVIE'G /MASHER /ZENDEN
KUYT CROUCH
SUBS
DUDEK
SAMI

FOWLER
ALONSO
MOMO
I'VE GOT A FEELING RAFA WILL STICK WITH ZENDEN FOR THE FINAL.
hyypia is the right man for the final.
Hyypia is my long time favorite defender, i like you would have chosen him over Agger the line up too is the best choice. Riise i like to watch him run up the left side and he sometimes scores a good goal. I'm looking forward to the Champion league final, and can't wait for our team to walk away with our hard earned cup. Good luck!
(Come on Liverpool)
i agree
i agree with you yes he should be in the squad as he & carra are good when they are at the back like carra hes quick cant wait 4 the match

Kuyt Crouch
SUBS: Dudek, Sissoko, Alonso, Bellamy, Hyypia, Kewell, Fowler.
Kewell was good today, his
Kewell was good today, his pace and skill lifted the team. I wouldn't be upset if he was playing on the 23rd. I keep saying this, and I've yet to be proven wrong, Steven Gerrard needs to get his finger out and start playing. He had a spell over the New Year when he was class, but after that he has disappeared into a sulking figure that looks like he doesn't give a crap. I wouldn't be upset if he was droppped to be honest. He hasn't found any sort of form of late. The Charlton game was a perfect stage for him to build up confidence, but his own inconsistancy reflected on the team. He will of course play and I just hope he can perform for 90 minutes or more in a cup final. In the first half of the 2005 final Gerrard was shit and only start playing when all hope seemed to be lost. This has been a recurring theme over this season. C'mon Stevie G get the finger out and inspire the team.
