Sissoko: I want to be as good as Vieira

Momo Sissoko says he wants to be as influential for Liverpool as Patrick Vieira was for Arsenal.
When Sissoko was signed, the comparisons were being made, and he has already established himself as a fan's favourite , after showing he is never afraid of a challenge and is willing to work for the team, with a string of great performances.
Speaking about Vieira, Momo said : "I am aware there have been comparisons to Patrick.
"He was a great Arsenal player and was a huge influence on the English game in his time here.
"I am only 22. I still have a lot to learn and a lot of work to do on my game. If I want to be like Patrick then I have to work hard to become a better player. Maybe one day people will say that the comparisons were valid - that's my goal."
Sissoko signed from Valencia for £6million in 2005.

yeah, he is one of the best in the premier league and can progress much more if given the opportunity beside the right player. Sissoko should be played alongside gerrard to give the best results, coz he is a defensive midfield who allows gerrard much more space and freedom to move forward and score just like Hamann was doing..
BUT with Alonso..besides him, no future, coz alonso do nothing apart from passing the ball backward, Even when gerrard plays alongside Alonso, he can just play as a holding midfielder, so he can't move forward.
So lets play Gerrrard and Sissoko, and see the best midfield pair progress in the premier league..
Sissoko progress has already started attracing attention from other great teams like Juventus, coz they kno without a good holding midfielder its very difficult for a team to win..

When we loose possession Momo makes it so difficult for the opposition at have any time on the ball and get into their rhytmn ... I honestly thought that him a Jaime Carra ere the difference against Barca!
After hearing of interest from Europe's top teams I would hope the Club extend his contract and increase his wage because I hope to see Momo retire in a LFC shirt... You just know he feels proud to wear the shirt!!
Read the the mirror this morning and they are also harking on about the Rafa / Real link ... it's a concern to say the least .....!!!
