Happy new year from everyone at AnfieldRed.

Most site content is provided by Tony who previously worked at the LFC shop and we've also had various reader submissions this year. The database backend and hosting is kept running by Chris.

2006 was a great year for the site, we now average several thousand uniques per day (ranging between 2000 and 8000) Our traffic comes from a range of places like links from other Liverpool & football sites, search engines (#4 on Yahoo and top 10 on MSN for 'liverpool fc') even the BBC

The site has just under 1000 registered users which isn't bad considering we don't force registration and did allow anonymous moderated comments for a while (had to stop this recently due to spambots)

There's some more good stuff planned for 2007, we'll maybe push the Liverpool FC google map so you can find local supporters and we will hopefully launch the forum shortly.
