POOR AND AVERAGE PLAYERS

I would take Xavi from Barcelona and give them Alonso. Benitez has ruined Xabi Alonso. All he is now is a tackler with very little of the creative passing he used to be great at.

Xavi might fancy a go in the Premiership. His creative passing is superb and something we badly need as a team.

Gudjohnson is a player we badly need behind Torres. I'd also like Owen back as cover for Torres and give Newcastle Crouch.

We need a new left back and maybe a right back too because Finnan is old and I'm not sure Arbeloa is more than cover.

I think your a bit unfair on Arbeloa 1red1pool, He has played very well this season, in various positions, I'm not saying that he is the finished article by any means but he has shown promise and seems to be getting better with every game he plays.

Re your point about Alonso I agree Rafa has converted him from a real midfield talent with vision and great passing ability into a defence minded uncreative player, Alonso has the ability to be one of our true class players , but Rafa is squeezing every bit of talent from his game, it is a dreadful shame, under another manager Alonso could flourish.

Wether he can rediscover his form is another question ? you may be right in saying we should cash in ( he would demand a good fee ) and get someone else in his place.

Benitez has a knack of nullifying players with true ability, all he seems concerened about is there ability to run and work. As ive said a thousand times the siiner we get rid of the Tinkerman the better.

i think all of our team i ok. but i think we need to sell crouch or to swap with a good defender or good midfielder. i think we will need to swap with M.Richards or any good left midfielder. we need alonso and mascherano they aren't for sale if we will sell them we will lose every game and every championship.

finnan is still a good player, he is only30,31 and alonso whats wrong with you, he has had 2 bad injuries this season, he is a class player riise has lost form thius season, but i would not sell him, aurrlio is crap, pennant, kuyt,voronin, yea sell them, did any of you watch hyppia agaist villa superb, thats what i mean about age, if you got it you never lose it. pace yes... but skill no.

Finnan is 32 in April, Rouman, and he's been a good player for 4 seasons but I doubt whether he'll be able to play every game next season at a high level. His form this season has been patchy and he's getting older. Is Arbeloa good enough to start every week? Hyppia was SUPERB against Villa but his age means you can't expect that every week. If Benitez stays I bet he'll let Sami go in the summer anyway. If we want to win the title we need players at their physical peak in the first 11. Older players are great subs but not regular first teamers

Alonso WAS a class player; even if you watch the Istanbul final you will see his beautiful passing. But he has lost that this season AND last season because he's more concentrated nowadays on defending than finding incisive passes. That's the manager's tactics.

We need him to take the ball off the centre backs and orchestrate our play so we play less long balls but he isn't doing for a long time, before he was injured.

we need a new manager to come in and get rid of the shit thats grinding our club down.we need new owners who are going to fund us for a team to build around reina,j.c,xabi,stevieg and torres.we have babel and lucas who i think will be great playersbut not under rafa.AND WE NEED THE NEW OWNERS TO HAVE A CLUE ABOUT FOOTBALL AND THE VALUES OF THIS CLUB NOT HOW MUCH FUCKING DOLLARS CAN BE MADE!

i think we shud keep alonso n hope tat the manager tat replaces rafa wil bring the best outta him again..

similarly, pennant.. he isnt realy as bad as u guys seem to think.. his crossing is gud, n every one of them causes panic in the opposition defence..

kewell may be past it.. aurelio might do well in the next season.. riise will definately bounce back.. i wudn't sell him.. wit a new coach, i think everyone wil be at their best, pls not kuyt..

voronin's an intelligent player, but seems to hav lost it due to the lack of games.. crouch is gud wit his head, but slow otherwise, concedes too many freekicks.. besides at the moment we dont hav too many crosses comin in for him to attack anyways..

we wud luv to see players like quaresma etc etc ply their trade here, but adaption is not easy.. i'd take a player who's in the epl already..

JULEZ THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PENNANT AND BENNYOUN IS THAT BENNYOUN KNOWS WHERE THE BACK OF THE NET IS.
YOU SAY PENNANT ISNT AS BAD AS WE THINK HE IS, YOUR RIGHT HE IS ACTUALLY FAR WORSE, HE VERY RARELY BEATS HIS MAN , HIS FINAL CROSS IS CRAP, PLUS HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT THE GOAL LOOKS LIKE, HE HAS SCORED ONE GOAL DURING HIS ANFIELD CAREER.
THE ONLY THING HIS ANY GOOD FOR IS GETTING PISSED DOWN AT MCDONALDS IN THE EARLY HOURS.

Yes we do have average players suchs as sissoko, pennant, kuyt, voronin, riise, crouch, aurelio, and kewell. They're having huge wages and overated, i think everyone's agree about that and sooner we sell them better we will be

but what makes me sad is that we do have also a high quality players such as alonso, benayoun, arbeloa, babel who've never been able to show their fully potential because Benitez is killing their potential with his narrowminded and stubborness

the problem with Benitez is he forces player to fit in with the system. That's the biggest problem in liverpool right now, and that's the reason why we have talented squad but still it is not enough for us to be a title contenders.

What should happen is THE SYSTEM SHOULD FIT IN WITH THE PLAYERS, NOT THE PLAYERS THAT SHOULD BE FORCE TO FIT IN WITH THE SYSTEM, so it means "THE PLAYER COMES FIRST, THE SYSTEM COMES LAST"

Thats what happen to alonso and babel, alonso should be given a role like fabregas in arsenal, not play in defensive midfield, he's got very good dribling skill, passing skill, and also he can score from outside the box, Benitez never utilize his player's strength because he's too blind, too stubborn, and too stupid for forcing the players to fit in with the system

our players have their own talent and he should know what are their talent then decide on what formation and system that fit with their talent

I agree totally , Alonso is a superb player , wasted by Benitez.
He has turned him from a attacking midfielder with passing ability to die for into a defensive midfielder which he aint. Alonso could and should score close to ten goals a season, instead he hardly passes the half way line, Benitez is ruining his careeer, and we the fans are the losers. If i was Alonso I would want out of the club.

unfortunately he's too stubborn, he's always forcing player to fit in the system (ex babel and alonso) so thats why they've never been able to show their potential
