new manager.....
i have had enough, of foreign managers i want king kenny back, with gary mac, and john barnes with him. men who have liverpool running though them. everyone , said sod the bootroom its time we moved with the times.well thats shite we have had houiller, rafa, pasta, fancy training, fancy coaches, all new ideas. well the ball is still round, its still eleven a side , we need to go back to our roots, forget foreign mangers. there new ideas have not worked, and at a club like l,pool never will, as we have seen. lippi is not the answer, the only foreign one worth having is rykard. but i would still pick kenny anyday. people say he has been away too long, i don,t keegan is back and kenny is twice the manager he is.we need to get back to our roots.i wanted it to work for rafa, and iam gutted it has,t we were success full because we had good backroom staff, a manager from within, and most off all players good enough to play for us. plus a owner who lived l.pool . we no longer have any of thease left, ok we have a few players sg, jc, alonso, torres, reina, hyypia, mash, but its no were near enough.as a scouser myself i have had enough of poor buys, we need a complete shake up, starting at the top. the yanks, parry, there the first to go. i know today football is ruled by money, but the players need to start earning it. and i mean all of them, whats happend to our club is unreal, if the yanks do hold on we should do all we can to remove them, makr them sell. they are nothink more than a waste of time, tyipcal yanks, live all there lives and deaths in debt, the visa card kings. as surporters we all know what the club needs,as well what it does,t. now is the time to let them all know we have had enough, wellcome home kenny....

I wish more of our fans could firstly agree we need a new manager. Because the IRWT fans don't seem to be looking at the league table.
I'd prefer Kenny to Benitez in charge next August that's for sure. At least Kenny will play the Liverpool way of passing the ball.
But the game has changed enormously since Kenny was at Anfield and is harder than ever before.
he has the experience the touch that brings trophy and the passion for the club... I'll also agree on Kenny..think that although he has been off the field for years.. agreat manager remains a great one with vision for victory..not just tactics how to put square pegs in round holes!
Watching the comments fo MacManaman on Setanta sports during half time and post matches, he seems also to have got a clue where the teams goes wrong, and where does Rafa err... he's been a brillant winger for us, formed a good duo with fowler..he might not be worst than Rafa/Houllier... Unfortunately those yanks don't even know about the names we are taliking around on this website..thats why DIC with lifelong liverpool fan Samir Ansari may be better placed to understand the clubs history and hence its future.
All the talk of bringing kenny back is romantic notions not reality. kenny has been on the golf course for 10yrs now the game is not the same. keegan has gone to newcastle, he has been out the game just 3 years and as someone said previously they dont have the same ambitions as us, its a different situation. john barnes is the wrong choice so is anyone else who played for us on the sole basis they played and managed a bit. we are an interanational club one of the ruling 14 (before G14 disbanded)the boot room was demolished by souness during his tenyer as manager. its not there so why are we trying to recreated it with old managers and players returning. we need to look to the future. a spainard has led us to 2 euro cup finals and won us a fa cup. i would take him over any old player. Even shanks said the club needs keep moving forward as got rid of the board and its operation which was stuck in the 30's and 40's, why are we trying to live in the 80's again?? nothing wrong with a forgein manager if they are good enough. if lippi leads us to 2 euro finals winning one in 2009 and an FA CUP in 2010 we will be calling him the messiah, alas wasnt that what rafa was being called????
your wrong, once you have the gift. it stays with you. like riding a bike once done never forgotten, foreign managers do not suit l,pool as the past has shown, your also a fool to dismiss j barnes, he is a man of great football knowledge. the boot room made us what we are, and shanks would have turned in his grave if he could see what was going on, and he and pasiley would not have recomended ,a foreign manager. its not about living in the past, its about facts. lippi is not the answer, far from it, if any foreign mamager it should be rykard.again your wrong, international club 2nd liverpool 1st i am a scouser ask any other they will understand that statement.we should be managed by not sentiment but by a man who understands are values a winner dalglish.....
I know that meany of you guys will laugh at this but Benitez is a great manager why now we should criticise him why we din't criticised him when we won the CL in 2005, the FA and when he singed Torres. We need to back the manager that we have and give the Americans some time and Kuyt until the summer and then talk
honestly
JOHN
look mate, i so much wanted rafa to suceed.but he has picked the wrong players, too many times, and it has cost us, you cannot deny it.i am giving him till the end of the season, i have said that all along, but i am trying to give a honest veiw,as much as i like rafa, so far this season it has not worked...
Stulivered,
All Pool fans appreciate the GREAT Euro nights Benitez has brought back to Anfield. But he hasn't played Liverpool football. Backs against the wall hardly stringing two passes together under pressure isn't the Liverpool tradition.
I've never been really comfortable watching Liverpool under Houllier or Benitez because they often look like a glorified Wimbledon. I loved the Roy Evans team which played the game the right way, the Liverpool way of pass and move creative football. Unfortunately he couldn't win trophies which Houllier and Benitez did.
That's why I believe Lippi is the answer. Go and watch his Juventus teams of the late 90s and it's like watching the old Liverpool teams.
Lippi or Mourinho would be my top choices with Kenny 3rd. Because at least Kenny would put passion into the players week in week out, which Benitez can't do. But I doubt Kenny would accept the job anyway.
i dont mean to be disrespectful but get rid of the wanky yankys and rafa.get jose in and gary macallister as no.2.lets face it rafas not goin to challenge for the league.joses won it twice and will be hungrier than ever to win the champions league and shove it down chelskis throats.revenge is red.kopite til i die love you all peace out.
