15 PREMIERSHIP GAMES LEFT - WILL WE GET 4TH SPOT ?
With 15 premiership games left to play , will we secure the all important 4th spot ? We are now in a dogfight with Man City , Aston Villa, Portsmouth , Blackburn, and possibly West Ham and Tottenham. We also have some very hard fixtures within those 15 games , Away to Man Utd, Chelsea , Arsenal, West Ham, and Tottenham. Champions League qualification brings 20m in revenue , money to be used in the transfer market for next season.
With the way we are playing 4th spot is anything but a forgone conclusion, if were not careful we may end the season in 7th or 8th position. 4TH place has virtually become a PRIORITY for our club. It is amazing how our recent slump has transformed us from a team challenging for the tittle to also rans in the space of 7 or 8 games.
I personally think our best bet for securing 4th spot is to sack Benitez immediately, and bring in an Anfield hero like John Aldridge , Garry Mac, King Kenny or Thommo, in a caretaker role , until the end of the season. What do you guys think ? Stick with Benitez and end up missing out on qualification or bring in someone else ?

I would leave Benitez in charge because he might do well again in Europe this year when he knows the league is gone.
But if we really want to win the league he has to be sacked in June because he is getting worse not better in the Prem.
I am a little worried Everton or Villa will sneak 4th because we seem to be totally unable to break teams down if they come for draws off us. Any team that sits back and defends in numbers will get a draw against us nowadays our attackers are so 2nd rate.
We need 2 sack him now and bring in someone in the caretaker role until the end of the season coz we are in a fight for 4th spot with everton,blackburn,pompey,man c,a.villa if nothing is done then we wont finish in that all important 4th spot! HOW PATHETIC DOES THAT SOUND! THIS IS LFC THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH SIDE EVER AND WE ARE FIGHTING THE 4TH SPOT IN THE EPL WHEN IT SHOULD BE THE TOP SPOT! thats how its gonna be 4 as long as rafa is in charge poor finishes in the PL! even gerrard said its taking its toll on the team! i never thought id be saying this but its a must win against havant & w just 2 get the confidence bk of winning amongst the team! RAFA MUST GO!dis embarassment is to much t bear. Slack play, investing good money on average players (who neva seem t improve)and a total lack of ideas which is seen in the way we attack (so rudimentary) and counter attack (if dere is ne worth mentioning. Bad things happen because good people fail to act. We must act, if you dont want to see our great club surprising and right in front our eyes fall from grace, WE MUST ACT. BENITEZ MUST GO!
