SHOULD WE GO FOR MOURINHO ?
With all these lackluste perfomances , and obvious lack of support for Rafa from Hicks and Gillet if newspapers are to be believed ( they offerd Klinsman the job only for him to choose Bayern ). Do you think it's time to call in the special one, after all he is out of work and available, whats more he would bring some much needed confidence back to the team some passion some fight some pride some much needed team spirit and salvage our season. We surely cannot continue playing so badly. SHOULD WE SACK RAFA WHO APPEARS TO BE A DEAD MAN WALKING ANYWAY AND GO FOR THE SPECIAL ONE ?
If we don't get Mourinho Eddie we've missed out bigtime. Who else of his quality is there at knows the Premier League?
We must get Mourinho before someone else does or I can't see any other manager, except Marcello Lippi, lifting us to the title in the next 3 years.
Without a shadow of a fcuking DOUBT as 1red1pool said we need 2 get him now as he's out of work and available b4 someone else does. 1red1pool u no ur stuff hasnt mourinho got some sort of agreement with chelski that he wont take another job in PL until next season? we will find it hard 2 get 4th in league we are 8 pts of chelski! 9 of man u not including there game with the toon and 12 pts off arsenal HE NEEDS 2 BE SACKED SOONER RATHER THAN LATER something has 2 give! we cant keep goin on like this other wise we gonna end up 20 pts or more off the top 3 AGAIN! i hope we aint gonna get the usual suspects sticking up 4 the useless piece of crap this time! rafa has out stayed his welcome! if he thinks he's building a team 2 win the PL then he is on drugs! mourinho has 2 be brought in 2 save our season what is left of it!!!
kevj you are bloody right,mourinho is the one for liverpool its the only one i can think that has the passion for football,you only have to read in the papers when he left chelsea some of the players there were crying when he left.looks like rafa has out stayed his welcome,will thank him for winning fa cup and champions league,but this club is built on winning english pl
Not sure, kevj, but I doubt Mourinho would want to take over midseason. Also I think Benitez deserves a dignified exit in June because his Champions League exploits put Liverpool back on the European map and he deserves respect for that.
I disagree 1red1pool I reckon Mourinho is chomping at the bit to get back to managing a side, and would he turn down the opportunity to manage us I very much doubt it. The only thing that may stand in our way is a clause saying he cannot manage another team in England till next season, However money talks if were serious I;m sure this could be sorted out. Rafa has to go and quickly , he has been good for us in the past , but if we continue as we are we will end up in mid table and that would be an absolute disaster, Hicks and Gillet need the money from a 4th place finish and Mourinho is the best man to give the team back its passion and pride. I have never seen the team play so badly in my thirty five years of following the club, I thought it was bad under Houlier and Sounes but this is a fu++ing disaster.
If Mourinho took the job in the morning I would be very happy but I just don't see it happening like that. And I do think Benitez deserves some respect for his achievements and will still finish 4th. And he might still do well in Europe.
So I am patient til June when I believe he must be replaced.
I think rafa has 2 go a.s.a.p red coz the longer he is in charge the worse our season is gonna get would you rather we finish mid table? coz thats what is gonna happen if he stays til the end of the season we need 2 bring in another manager that can save our season im hoping that man will be mourinho
