Rather than having posts all over the place about our dismal performance against Boro, go mental in here about it instead!
I watched the game online, it was dire in the first half. Gerrard looked like the only one trying in the first half, and he hit a decent shot but Schwarzer saved it.
Voronin looked out of place today, i really dont know why he got a game. Kuyt should have started, or Crouch. At least when Kuyt plays you know he is going to run from the start of the game until the end, and maybe he would have done something differently to Voronin.
Crouch was left out altogether, probably as he will be playing in the FA Cup on tuesday, but maybe if we had crosses going into him then something could have come from that.
Babel looked good when he came on, perhaps its time him and Torres got a game upfront together?
It's clear as day Babel should play behind Torres and Benitez should show the patience with Babel to keep starting him in that position even if he has some bad games. No point dropping strikers ever other game or they'll lose all confidence.
Our three dud strikers aren't good enough so Babel at least has obvious talent and quality. He deserves to start every week with Torres.
Benitez is on his way out this summer and even the players know it now. He relies totally on Torres and Gerrard to dig him out every week because he has become utterly clueless.
liverpool had a bad game again,looks like rafa is a dead man walking,the only good thing to come from this is 1. we might get a manager who knows how liverpool play,2.american owners might sell to dic,who i heard is a liverpool fantic,3.all the dead wood players will be sold in the summer, ynwa.
IN THE FIRST HALF WE WERE 100% DREADFULL, IN THE SECOND HALF WE WERNT MUCH BETTER UNTIL THE LAST 15-20 MINUTES. I HAD A TICKET BUT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ON THE PISS ALL OVER XMAS AND THE NEW YEAR COULDNT REALLY AFFORD TO GO A ROUND TRIP FROM LONDON WOULD HAVE COST ME CLOSE TO £150. THANK GOD I DIDNT GO, WE WERE COMPLETE AND UTTER RUBBISH , THE FOOTBALL THAT WE ARE CHURNING OUT RECENTLY IS NOT WORTHY OF THE FIRST DIVISION LET ALONE THE PREMIERSHIP. THINK ABOUT OUR RECENT PERFORMANCES DERBY AWAY MAN CITY AWAY WIGAN AT HOME LUTON AWAY AND NOW THIS BOLL+CKS . WE ARE AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. THE MANCS ARSE AND CHELSKI FANS MUST BE LAUGHING THERE HEADS OFF. WE ARE A BLO+DY SHAMBLES.
