His goal was good against Marseille, a nice touch round the keeper, and did well considering the defender was pulling him back.

I have said for ages that he needs a regular place in the team, rather than bit part performances, and his confidence is growing, he showed great pace to get that goal, and hopefully theres more to come from him.

is a very gud player.. games is wat he needs.. i tot the goal against marseille was awesome.. wat composure! anyone else including El Nino himself wud hav tried takin the ball past the keeper on the left, but Babel did it so coolly on his right.. tats cool n classy!

Eddie you talk so much shit. Babel is no where near as good as any of those strikers. They all work really hard and Babel is just lazy!

babel and torres are both good players, speed skill and eye for goal, but it doesnt mean babel can play with torres,
I'am no coach so not going to pretend i am, but wouldnt babel need more time to settle in, his runs are from wide cutting through the middle, he is always looking for the through ball or over the top or at feet to take them on but never for the link up with another, maybe i am wrong but i feel he would be playing the same role as torres and therefore cancel themselves out. i dont belive 2 strikers have to be different but they have to understand each other at least, it would be marvelous if they both hit it off, that would be so so so much pace up front with age on their side to, babel torres kewell running at you with riise and gerrard from deep bursting through, jesus most teams would be ripped apart but only if the end product is there, heres to hoping we buy a right sided winger next summer, and have all those above and another rushing defences.
