THESE TWO GAMES WILL HAVE A HUGE BEARING ON OUR SEASON, TWO WINS - CRISIS WHAT CRISIS OUR CONFIDENCE WILL BE SKY HIGH, EVERYTHING TO PLAY FOR AND EVERYTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TOO. LOSE TO MARSEILLE BUT BEAT THE MANCS - THE YANKS MAY NOT BE PLEASED BUT THE FANS ? WOULD MEAN WE COULD FOCUS ON THE PREMIERSHIP ALONE, BEAT MARSEILLE AND LOSE TO THE MANCS - FINANCIALLY WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE CLUB BUT WOULD PUT A HUGE DENT IN OUR PREMIERSHIP AMBITIONS SURELY A BRIDGE TOO FAR, EVERY OTHER TEAM IN EUROPE WANTS TO WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND LIVERPOOL PLAYING OVER TWO LEGS AGAINST ANY TEAM COULD GO ALL THE WAY , LOSE BOTH - THE PRESS WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY , RAFAS JOB WILL BE THE FOCUS OF ATTENTION, HOW WILL THE YANKS REACT ?
ISNT IT AMAZING HOW TWO GAMES CAN HAVE SUCH A BEARING ON OUR SEASON.
I HOPE AND PRAY THAT WE WIN BOTH GAMES - THEN EACH AND EVERYONE OF US WILL HAVE SOMETHING TO REALLY LOOK FORWARD TOO.

It's a bit too early in the season to be having a do or die week for my liking, but jesus christ its why i like "LOVE" football and liverpool fc, i hope the players don't perform nervously like they did when porto equalised in the last game, accurate passing and intelligent movement will beat any team, throw in a little slice of luck which we did not have on saturday (dodgy pen and woodwork), and another european night for heroes and legends will be born, we have the experience, the quality, the captain, we just need the manager to not over think things or be stubborn with any pre match plans if the game is not going as planned, i'm talking mainly about substitutions, as he does not always remove the player who is not playing well, but hopefully we will be 3-0 up at half time and my heart will be fine and my hair still on my head, so silly me would have been getting nervous for absolutely no reason at all.
