OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IS AN OUT AND OUT GOALSCORER
WE COULD AND SHOULD HAVE WON TODAY AT BLACKBURN, BUT YET AGAIN WE DIDNT TAKE ANY OF THE CHANCES WE CREATED, OK WE RODE OUR LUCH WITH BLACKBURN HITTING THE WOODWORK , BUT WE COULD AND SHOULD HAVE SCORED THREE GOALS IN THE LAST 15 MINUTES. OUR BIGGEST CULPRIT WAS DIRK KUYT WHO SHOULDNT BE PLAYING HE HASNT PLAYED WELL FOR AN ETERNITY. IF DROGBA PLAYED UP FRONT FOR US HE WOULD HAVE SCORED A HAT TRICK TODAY. WE ARE IN DIRE NEED OF A GOALSCORER, KUYT ISNT THE ANSWER NOR IS VORONIN CROUCH ISNT AND NEITHER IS BABEL, NOT HAVING A GOALSCORER IS COSTING US DEARLY. IMAGINE MICHEAL OWEN MISSING THOSE CHANCES THSAT KUYT HAD, NO WAY WOULD HE HAVE BEEN SO INEPT. RAFA NEEDS TO PLAY CROUCH ( THE BEST OF A BAD BUNCH ) UP UNTIL THE TRANSFER WINDOW THEN GET RID OF THEM ALL REPLACING THEM WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES KNOW HOW TO SCORE. ANELKA OWEN
ANYONE HAS GOT TO BE BETTER THAN THIS CURRENT CROP OF NON GOALSCORERS.
i have said for ages kuyt , is one of the worst stikers i have ever seen.at least when crouch played we looked like scoring. but we need someone else, i wanted owen at the start of the season. but rafa won.t buy him. he has his reasons. maybey gunjohnsen from barca, at least he has played in the prem, and he is a good player. or maybey a youngster give them a try what have we got to lose,we might even save a few millon but kuyt needs to spend a few weeks in the reserves, and learn how to shoot. failing that he needs to pack his bags and move on.
From the start of the season Kuyt has not proved to me that he is a good striker, even now I'm still waiting to see what Rafa has bought him for. Yesterday he had three or four chances to score against Blackburn and just kicked it at Friedel or over the bar. Blackburn weren't up to there best neither i think they could of easily beat us if they were. The last fifteen minutes of the second half we started to play well especially when Crouch and Harry came on. I bet next week Rafa still keeps the same starting formation on as yesterday he must not see what we see! The best bet is to have Crouch on now and let Kuyt sit back, better still get rid of Kuyt do the team a favor.
Agree with the comments get rid of kuyt and voronin it goes 2 show thats why he was a freebie! they aint the only ones! i agree with u rouman with gudjohnsen he not a bad player a lot better that kuyt and voronin put 2gether he got PL experience but rafa doesnt think like us fans does he? we need a proven goal scorer and QUICK other wise we be struggling 2 finish 4th we got a tough game in CL this week if we dont win that then there will be some BOO'S around the ground calling 4 his sacking! i say get rid of him now but some of the people on here doesnt agree they say get rid when season ends wot u think?
How is it that in the past few years we have managed to buy some great players but they haven't been able to play great for us? The best players we have had are all home grown! I mean look at Anelka, Berger, Cisse, Bellamy and now Kuyt, Crouch, Voronin & Torres (poor blokes -should have stayed where they were)! All proven goal scorers but not at Anfield!
We need to stick with the same side, Kuyt is starting to look worse every game, get Torres and Crouchy upfront, sod the rest of em!
