TEAM TO PLAY ARESENAL
WHAT WOULD YOUR TEAM BE TO PLAY ARESENAL ? WE HAVE A VERY GOOD RECOLD AT HOME TO THE ARSE BUT I FEEL THAT WE WILL NEED TO BE ON TOP OF OUR GAME TO SUCCEEED, STOP FABRAGAS AND WE WILL NULLIFY ARSENAL , EVERYTHING THEY DO SEEMS TO GO THROUGH HIM. NOT MANY TEAMS HAVE TAKEN THE GAME TO ARSENAL THIS SEASON AND TESTED THERE DEFENCE.

WE NEED TO TAKE THE GAME TO ARSENAL FROM THE OFF, SCORING THE FIRST GOAL IS ALL IMPORTANT, THE LAST THING WE NEED IS TO LOSE THIS GAME AS WE WOULD THEN BE NINE POINTS BEHIND ARSENAL,
I THINK WE WILL SUPRISE A FEW PEOPLE AND WIN 1 OR 2 NIL, WHICH WOULD BE A GREAT RESULT CONSIDERING OUR RECENT RUN. I ALSO FANCY STEVIE G TO SCORE. ANY WIN WILL PUT US IN A GREAT POSITION TO KICK ON TO BETTER THINGS IN THE PREMIER THIS SEASON. COME ON LADS LETS SEE IT HAPPEN.
i have to give you ten out ten, for pure belelif.the team you picked is ok, but if alonso is not fully fit i would pick benny. i hope we win but i am not as confedent as you the way were playing, a draw looks are best bet,
The back 4 picks itself when they all fit. Gerrard and alonso is always my pair, when both on song they are great together. Masca could be used to stifel faberagas. Torres is a must, a must, we have no pace upfront without him, and babel is quick on the flanks so he is in to. Crouch be good asset, his height might test the gunners defence more than voronin, the gunners dont have a guy like big pete and like to play football on the ground so he might upset them a bit, I take it your playing gerrard wide right. Good shout he would push helb back, stop him attacking more than pennant would, even though stevie should always be in the centre, this game we need someone to stop the flanks. Cant bring in hobbs eddie, he not ready for this one yet
I might of gone for pennant wide right and drop masca, take the game to arsenal, you cant defend against arsenal, they just keep going and going, so you have to try, its very rare that arsenal dont score, so you have to ensure we at least get one, then bring on masch for pennant
Its a balanced team youve picked eddie, with attacking options in riise,babel gerrard torres all with pace, and a solid centre midfield holding a defence. Very balanced, dont know if its wise or not, thats what rafas paid the big bucks for
If torres will be playing, i'd rather play voronin upfront with him than Crouch, last time he scored against Assnall coz he just came back from broken nose and learn to use his head, but its not the case now!! Also, asnal had a problem with their defence at that time, but wenger is wise enough to have thought of a plan to stop crouch, i think he will commit more foul upfront by climbing on th back of players than trying to score decently or win us some foul or even a penalty. He lacks pace and has scored only against a team like toulouse..even in preseason he was not as good as voronin..just review the matches and you'll see why he is not being selected by benitez.
Another option is to play babel upfront with torres, and put benayoun on the left wing..this would be a mastermind action by rafa, and will be the only guarantee that we can win the match.
Personally I think our best starting 11 would be..

Even if Rafa does pick that team our work is still cut out for us,it's been a long time since Ive seen a more on form Arsenal side,scoring the first goal wIll be essential
