Rafa, Stevie and Jamie

Rafa, Stevie and Jamie

I've just read what Stevie G has said about his substitution on Saturday. In the past, when he was asked about whether Cisse shuld stay or Owen be re-signed etc, Gerrard has always said that what ever happened it would be the manager's decision. And he has continued this after Rafa took him off on Saturday. His well balanced response was typical of Stevie and even though I know he won't see this I commend him on the way he took Rafa's decsion. No shirt throwing etc, etc from him, which we might have seen from some players. Whilst I, like 99.9% of us, thought Stevie was playing really well and didn't anticipate his substitution, I thought Lucas's introduction worked REALLY well. I very much hope that Rafa keeps him in for the Champions League game. My final point is about Jamie C. I love the guy and no-one could give more for us each week and yes it was the usual cauldron like Derby situation and passions were running high, but he HAS to stop taking referee's on. Let the referee do the job he's there for. An arm round the referee's shoulder might be OK with some but with others it's not. What I'm trying to say Jamie is for God's sake don't put yourself in a position where your'e going to pick up a red card. We need you on the park!

Carra

Agree with the point there. he is wearing the captian armband during the game(when gerrard was taken off) as a captain, he should learn to control himself.

YES CARRAGHER NEEDS TO STAY CALM

JAMIE CARRAGHER WAS LUCKY NOT TO HAVE BEEN SENT OFF ON SATURDAY, WHY IS HE CONSTANTLY AUGUEING WITH THE REF ( REMINDS ME OF ROONEY ). CALM DOWN JAMIE, ALSO KEEP YOU ARMS TO YOURSELF PUTTING YOUR ARMS AROUND A REF IS ASKING FOR TROUBLE.
FINALLY WHAT WAS JAMIE THINKING OF FOULING IN THE LAST MINUTE OF THE GAME HAD EVERTON BEEN AWARDED A PENALTY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DUE TO JAMIE'S IRRESPONSIBLE ACTIONS , A LOT OF REFS WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT.
THAT SAID JAMIE IS HAVING A GOOD SEASON AND HAS BEEN ONE OF OUR BEST PLAYERS , CALM DOWN AND LEAVE THE REFEREES ALONE.

refs and carra

Carra is so passionte that he cant help it. We should really go down the lines of the rugby lads. They get far more hurt in tackles than our boys, just as passionet but they have a respect which they show the ref and get on with it. This is down to 1 of few things. Their refs are either far better, more respectful and explain their dissisons to the players, they have video technology which cant be argued with, all be it not every dissison goes to the video screen reply. or the lads playing the game, are brought up from an early age through the ranks and told this is the right way to play a game. I will be honest, i cant stand it when players surround the ref screaming and shouting. its not because they care more, its a tatic and they cant control themselves, one wrong ref disission changes a game the same as in rugby, so its about time we all learnt to be men not childish boys. CARRA/GERRARD included. on the same note, refs need to be improving their end with better dissions and maybe more lines men.

Does the lampard and gerrard pair works for england???

The answer is clearly NO... Coz you can't have two players with the same role in one match...leiva was bought as a playmaker and goalscoring midfielder just like gerrard, so its obvious he will replace players who plays in the same position as him.
And what if gerrard was kept on the field and get injured? Most of the time, opponents try to knock down your best player on the field.
And by the way i think liverpool players should learn to win games easily without gerrard and torres!!! coz its not impossible for them to get hurt.
