Its not so much as we are bidding for this tree trunk but that we have been offered him by Real Madrid for around 8 million as they dont want him and arsenal have refused to take him on full time, Rafa was reported as being interested ages ago and my guess is real are trying to put feeler out thats all see whos interested, but i am sure we wont be going for him, we have plenty of options in this position and rafa enough on his hands to play them all, besides he offers nothing different to the others, we have pace and strength in torres, height and guile in crouch, work ethic and playmaking in kuyt and same as voronin with a surprise in him for the others to get to grasps with,

RAFA HAS SAID HE IS HAPPYWITH WHAT HE HAS GOT SO I DOUBT WE WILL BE SIGNING ANYONE ELSE. SHAME ABOUT QUARESMA BUT 25M - 28M IS A LOT OF DOUGH, PORTO HAVE PRICED HIM OUT OF THE MARKET. IF HE DOESNT SIGN FOR ANYONE , I RECKON WE SHOULD MONITOR HIM AND KOMPANY THROUGH TO THE NEXT TRANSFER WINDOW.
