CRITICALMIND I AGREE
I totally agree with criticalmind we need goal scores not work horses i.e KUYT didnt even look like scoring against villa i saw the game myself criticalmind i was shouting at the tv asking why he passed the ball back so many times instead of goin 4ward and kuyt wants 2 be a legend like fowler he has no chance of that he needs 2 pull his socks up or he's gonna get dropped what the rest of u think?

i would prefer crouch ad torres. crouch can take the headers and score some wonderful goals and torres is a great striker.
The moment Kuyt will show sign of improvement and that he is a striker i will stop critisizing him...But unfortunately its been quite a long time since i'm waiting...He wastes all the good crosses that he receives...sometimes he is in front of the box when he receives crosses, and instead of scoring he takes the ball to the corner post, or simply send it back to Alonso, who in turns send it to Reina.
Man if only he could hear us swearing at him in front of the tv when he missed those occasions :)))
i carnt knock kuyt for his work effort but as a striker he should be scring more goals. he played an ok game at aston villa but still needs to improve his stiking ability. i do agree with liverpoolrox i would like to see crouch and torres line up upfront. i think that partnership would bring us more goals. agaisnt the blues rafa should have them upfront.
I feel for these strikers. Take Kuyt, for example. Last year, partnered with Crouch, or maybe Fowler, or another week with Garcia maybe, or Cisse, or Bellamy, or, or, or.... This year, same thing. Kuyt and Crouch, Kuyt and Torrez, Kuyt and Voronin, Voronin and Crouch, Torrez and Voronin. And feeding them from the midfield, another inconsistent mess. Sometimes Gerrard in the middle with Alonso, sometimes Gerrard out wide. Sometimes it'll be Babel or Benayoun. Rafa says he loves having all these parts and needs them. But any championship team needs chemistry and familiarity. You need to know what your mates are doing, how and when. Liverpool never has this kind of chemistry cuz it's a different set up each and every game. Pick a squad, stick with it and only make changes when necessary. Let them build up some chemistry and get to really click with each other. Then judge the strikers.
