ROUMAN-I agree-only I Would start with Kewell instead of Babel.This side WILL WIN v. Aston Villa.
The team should start attacking from the beginning and bag 2-3 goals before half time, anyway we'll be lucky Sorensen is injured, so i'd expect at least 3 goals from that match...with 3 striking player upfront.
I'd also prefer us to score from freeplay than set pieces..
All the players in your proposed team has done so well in preaseason, hope Rafa do trust and reward them.
Kewell plays much better when introduced as a sub than when started from the beginning, i don't kno why, but its like that, so i'd prefer him on the bench for the game.
I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT I DO THINK KEWELL HAS LOST IT, HE IS A SHADOW OF THE PLAYER WHO USED TO PLAY SO WELL FOR LEEDS. ALL THESE INJURIES HAVE RESULTED IN HIM LOSING HE'S PACE. I WOULD LIKE HIM TO PROVE ME WRONG , BUT I DOUBT IT SOMEHOW.

kewell is a great player....causes of injuries has make him a bit fear to go fast pass players...but his is as gud as he was in leeds...but the prob is that in leeds he used to play in front with viduka n nw he plays on the wings alone...see the difference..never mind just hope liverpool scores 5 goals that will bring loads of confidence but they shudnot have injuries nor they shud concede goals...n the morals of the players will b high n ready to crush every one likes of chelsea,united,arsenal n so likes of newcastal,westham,manchestercity...all playing well

Rafa seems to be easing the new boys in. I'd expect a similar line up against Chelsea next week.
A place for Benayoun on the bench and Kewell either starting instead of Riise or replacing him with 15 - 20 minutes to go depending on the score of course.
Mascherano or Sissoko to start instead of Alonso. Or could it be the formation we took on Barca with last season. 4-5-1 with Gerrard, Mascherano and Alonso as a midfield trio.
