ROTATION - YOUR VIEWS
I'M REALLY ANTI ROTATION. TO ME YOU SHOULD ALLWAYS PLAY YOUR BEST ELEVEN, OBVIOSLY IN THE COURSE OF A SEASON INJURIES, SUSPENSIONS , TACTICS AND PLAYERS LOSS OF FORM COME INTO PLAY. I JUST HOPE RAFA DOESNT KEEP SWAPPING AND CHANGING THE TEAM. I KNOW WE HAVE A SQUAD AND IT IS HARD TO KEEP PLAYERS HAPPY , BUT TOUGH IF YOUR GOOD ENOPUGH YOU MAKE THE TEAM, IF NOT YOU WAIT FOR YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND YOU GRAB IT. WHAT ARE YOU VIEWS ?

But there is a problem. How are you going to keep the likes of mascherano, sissoko, alonso, gerrard, lucas, gerrard, and benayoun all happy.those are just the midfielders.what about when it come to wingers and forwards. They also want a bit of action .Its not that easy.We wanted world class players. We have plenty thankfully(touch wood)But this is the kind of predicament it has put us in.Stongest 11 should be played against the sides we must beat ,the stronger sides. We can possibly rotate in the weaker games.I for one wouldnt want to be in rafas shoes come game day and he has to choose.
YES IT IS A PROBLEM BUT PICK YOUR BEST PLAYERS OF THOSE MIDFIELDERS GERRARD MASCHERANO AND ALONSO PLUS ONE OTHER, OUR DEFENCE PICKS ITSELF, UP FRONT PICK PLAYERS ON FORM AND SCORING.IF THE PLAYERS WHO ARNT BEING SELECTED DON'T LIKE IT TOUGH.ROTATION FOR ROTATIONS SAKE IS STUPID . FERGIE HAS THE BALANCE RIGHT AND MAUREEN HAS HE'S UNTOUCHABLES, OK IN THE LESSER GAMES WE CAN CHANGE BUT DO AS FERGIE DOES HAVE THE BEST ON THE BENCH AND CHANGE THINGS AT HALF TIME IF THINGS ARE NOT GOING OUR WAY.
IT S A PROBLEM WHICH I THINK MIGHT SEE A PLAYER OR 2 MOVE ON IN JAN.WHEN YOU HAVE A STRONG SQUAD YOU WILL GET PROBLEMS, HENCE RAFA WILL HAVE PROBLEMS.BUT I THINK HE WILL ENJOY THIS PROBLEM. IT ALL ADDS UP TO A GREAT SEASON.
I hope after all the different formations and teams Rafa has put out during his 3 years he finally has decided his best 8 or 9 players. If after the first 4-5 games of the new season we are still struggling to get the goals, then it means this man(whom I still RESPECT)is not the man to do it.It's now or never for Mr Benitez........
I guess Mascherano is not thought off for the long run, bearing in mind all of Gerrard, Alonso and Sissoko have signed long term contracts whereas Lucas have just arrived of course with at least 4 years in his deal... but again, it should be a helpful problem rather than a destructive one! ... There was an interview with Pako Ayesteran once, and his view was very enlighting and informative. Rafa's backroom staff know that he was not brought in to win the League Cup or the FA Cup every season, so he won't care what happens in these two competitions whereas the stupid media does. The priorities are the Premier League and the Champions League, where the whole big deal is at. Beside, he made it clear that Benitez does not rotate for no apparent reason especially in the whole defence/midfield area... whereas Strikers know they have very much to do to keep their places granted.
So personally I think Rotation is good for us, the players look more fresher than those who always appear from Aug to May in other clubs, beside, all the big clubs use rotation pretty much like ManU and Chelsea, and even Arsenal and Spurs, yet no one talks about them. Add to it, Benitez doesn't make WHOLE SALE changes from one game to another, but apparently not alot of people like to remember that!
